This is a physio-led exercise class for older people or those with long-term conditions who may be at increased risk of falls or simply just want to improve their mobility, strength and balance.
As we grow older it becomes increasingly important to keep active. As part of the normal ageing process we begin to lose muscle strength and flexibility, which can lead to a loss of mobility, confidence and often an increased risk of falls. These same symptoms can also occur as a result of long-term and neurological conditions including Parkinson’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis, amongst many others.
With the right guidance and support, exercise is a great way to improve mobility, strength, balance and confidence, ultimately reduce risk of falls.

Our classes involve a combination of low-impact cardiovascular, resistance, balance and functional exercises. All exercises are modifiable so are appropriate for all levels and you will be supervised by a Chartered Physiotherapist throughout the class.
