Quote: I’m a dedicated movement specialist who strongly believes in the health and stress relieving benefits of yoga and exercise. For me, it’s not about tracking the miles ran it’s about how exercise makes you feel”

About:

Whilst studying for a degree in Contemporary Dance, Greta discovered the restorative, physical and mental benefits of exercise and yoga. It was during her final year at university she become increasingly aware of how injury-prone dancers can be and wanted to supplement her own dance training with a practice that was both restorative and therapeutic.

Having completed the 200hrs yin yoga teacher training Greta began exploring opportunities to teach and realised that she had a great passion for working with people and helping them to discover the benefits of yoga. It also helped her in understanding how her own body operates and how best to work with students therapeutically. To further complement her dance and yoga training Greta has also completed a diploma in The Alexander Technique and includes many of the basic principles of good posture in her classes.

Greta’s classes focus on relieving stress and promoting wellbeing through movement. Her classes are always designed around individual needs and are aimed at improving concentration and restoring balance as well as increasing physical fitness. With her background in yoga and dance Greta always places great emphasis on the fluidity of movement and the importance of breath in movement.

Interests:

As well as yoga and dance Greta is passionate about fitness and enjoys wild swimming, running, cycling, and testing her limits. She has also taken part in several long-distance cycling trips, the most memorable of which was cycling from London to the Middle East over a three-month period.
